Baby Update

We got in safe late last night. Chera woke up at 4 am. She has her days and nights mixed up. She is sleeping now. Been asleep for 2 hours so i will have to wake her soon. Chera had a cold. And because She is so loving I allowed her to kiss me all over my face including my eye's. So, not only do I now have a severe cold, I also have pink eye. In both of my eye's!! :(. In addition, i have laryngitis so I can't even talk right now. So, if anyone wants to talk tome on the phone try calling sometime next week. :-/.

I AM IN ETHIOPIA NOW! YEAH!!

This is the first time in 3 days that i have been able to get online. 

About baby Chera....
She is very sweet,  very happy, and extremely playful.  Seems like she got a lot of attention in the orphanage.  looks like my work is cut out for me.  She loves the water and likes to take showers.  She does not like any sweets.  no cookies, no candy, nothing like that.  What she will eat is this; Spaghetti (any kind), bread, and eggs.  Any other foods, she will spit it out.  And she drinks powder milk, water, and juice.  She was great on Saturday when I picked her up but,started getting clingy on Sunday Evening.  Chera, will not let me put her down or leave the room for a minute.  So, I have basically had her strapped to my back for the last couple of days.  I am sure glad i brought that baby carrier. 

The good thing is, that she sleeps 10  hour nights with waking up maybe once and takes at least two naps a day.  I love it.

CLEARED!!!

CHERA WAS CLEARED BY THE USCIS!!!!!!! YES, SHE IS NOW CLEARLY APPROVABLE!!!! SO NOW THE EMBASSY WILL ISSUE HER A US VISA!!! I CAN NOW BRING CHERA HOME!!!!

More Approvals!! Yeah!!

Another family from my agency who was in the same situation as I am just got approved this morning. This is a good thing.   I am praying that I hear something tomorrow.  Then I can fly out to get Chera and bring her home.  :)
